Had a dual tour for a Road King a few years back. \\; Best seat I have ever used.
I don't like the look of the model for '08 SG's, so I didn't get one. \\; Also the price
for these with matching backrests is very expensive. \\; That turned me off also.
I purchased a Corbin solo seat for my '06 RK. \\; It was on sale for $199...night and day over stock. \\; With the stock seat, my rear would be numb by the time I had to fill the tank, the new seat, nothing but comfort. \\; It was worth every penny. Beware, some people really like these seats, some don't. \\; They are very "stiff", but this subsides after it forms to you.
With any CORBIN SEAT You Love Them or Hate Them.
Have run Many Corbin Seat on many different Putts.. The 07 RG put a Dual Tour on her and like always LOVE THE CORBIN
Had dual tour om '01 roadking, loved it for 50,000 miles. Traded in for a '08 ultra classic. Hate stock seat on ultra!!! Went to myrtle beach bike week, Corbin has a tractor trailer there with seats, asked the man working there for a dual touring for 08 ultra, he checked his paper, says he's got 2 in trailer for it. He went to get one waited 15 min. he came out , couldn't find any. He asked me if I wanted one, said yes thats why i was there. Wanted me to order one sight unseen?? Asked him to show me a seat that would be like the one i ordered, even for another bike model, i just wanted to be sure it wasn't softer than old roadking seat. They changed to a ostrich insert in middle of seat that i wasn't to sure about, roadking seat was smooth leather, wanted that for new bike. He got SMART ASSED with me said i could take with ostrich insert or get some other seat brand. Told him were to put his new unseen seat and left!!! Came home and called Chuck at cc seats and ordered a custom seat from him the way I wanted it for 200.00 dollars less than corbin!!! I told Chuck how i was treated at corbin trailer , he said he's getting alot of customer's ordering from him for that reason!!! \\;\\\\\\; There customer service sucks, even guys who go to there factory who live close enough to do that complain about them!!! They must not need money bad enough to treat people like that so I'll never buy another corbin! Loved there seats but they can eat all them as far as I'm concerned.
My 2 cents worth!!!! Mark
I have a Corbin Touring that I use when I head to rallys with the Ol Lady. \\; I don't like the look of touring seats, so I only use if for that. \\; It's very comfortable, and I love long trips in it, but I find it a little wide in the front, slightly decreasing my ability to keep my feet flat on the ground \\;comfortably at stops.
I used a Corbin Dual Touring seat on my FXSTC for about eleven years and loved it. Yes, some think that it is too firm but I can ride all day long, day after day, and it feels great when I get back on it the next morning.
 \\;
I am thinking about getting the Classic Solo and Touring Passenger Pillion for my Road King. They recently raised the prices so I haven't bit the bullet yet but they are very comfortable and well made saddles.
I'm too tight to buy a new one but I'd sure like to have a Dual Tour for my RG that was in good shape, \\; one of you fellers ought to sale me yours.
They are hard as cured cement for about 1500 miles,then they soften up to the softness of a brick.
Their customer service SUCKS, I have heard this from people across every product line jap, euro, HD.
Their prices have gone thru the roof. Great Mills Cycles, who sells on EBAY as GMcycles, has always given the best deals, but his prices have gone up 100 bucks in 2 years on the Kawi ZRX seat. I don't think Eric is price gouging I think it is Corbin
There are too many upholstery shops that would love to have your business to deal with a company that thinks you suck. (remind me again why we buy from the MoCo!)
In the Boston area I use All-Nu in Revere. He has done a bunch of car and bike work for businesses I am affiliated with and they have always been top notch qualityy and a good price.
