bad vibration 06 street glide
My father in law has a 06 street glide with a bad vibration from 900-1300 rpm. The bike and be sitting or riding with the clutch in or out and the vibration happens so bad that the faring shakes. the dealer can not figure it out. they replaced the front mount with an updated mount, problem still present. no unusual noises from the powertrain, bike tracks straight. once you are above the 1300 rpm the vibration is gone. and ideas would help. Not sure but id have them look internely at the motor. Sounds like except for the fact that it smooths out like a droped cylinder. or a bad miss fire. It might even be bad plug or timing. If you can figure it out i have \\;a 96 eg ill trade ya lol

a buddy of mine has a dyno here and we did numerous pulls and light pulls in that range and found timing not to be a problem. also plugs are new, wires are ok since we did not see a fluctuation on the dyno. im wondering if its something primary realted? but you would think there would be other problems?

I don't recall the specifics but remember reading that the updated HD front mount for the 06 is bad. \\; I read the fix is a Buell motor mount L0501.2 \\; \\; Don't hold me responsible but maybe I have said enough you can search here and find out the specifics. \\; Hope it helps.
