Does anyone have the 12 inch Klockwerks windshield on their roadglide. \\; I have seen some with the shorty but the reports I have read for the short one are not favourable. \\; Just wondering if anyone with the 12 inch version can let me know if it deflects the wind from the helmet area. \\; I am tired of my glasses bouncing up and down.
 \\;
Thanks in advance.

I have the 12" smoked on my road glide and I love it ,I am 6'2" and I get a straight smooth breeze about nose level that pushes my glasses against my face,it's not the full force wind (that's about 2" above my head)but definitely way better than the stocker that brought the wind from behind which kept me constantly pushing my glasses back on my face. There is \\;considerably more wind noise to the ears but earplugs fix that. NO MORE BUFFETING! Makes the bike handle better at highway speed.I also get a few more bugs but not enough to really matter (I ride 21 miles at 4 a.m. to work so I know about the bug thing). Just my opinion, for what its worth. \\; + it looks WAY COOL!
I had the 12" smoked on my '07 RG for a week, then it ended up on eBay. I'm tall (6'4"), and the wind clobbered me with the Klockwerks. Everyone I talked to beforehand said it was the greatest, but it just didn't work for me. I went with an 18", and now I'm very happy. \\;
Thanks all. \\; I did do a search (new to the forum) and found a lot of guys have gone to the clearview. \\; Will be ordering mine tonight after some measurements.

The 12" is too tall for me. I'm 6'0" and I like to look "over" the windshield and not through it, because during a rain a tall windshield just isn't clear enough for me with all the rain.
