If your thinking Streetglide, they will be available in two tone paint this year, but it appears your going with a UC.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Looks like there are more metallic colors and less pearls.&nbsp\\; Your going with black, then I think your safe pulling the trigger on the 08!

 

....."the 08 really has everything I want.",....ya...that's what some guys said in 06...then the 07's came out(96").....then the 08's had ABS...then the 09's&nbsp\\; got.......(stock 110's, 7 speeds, Nav, turbos..etc...etc....who knows...take your pick), gotta love Harley!.....

 

I would wait just to see what the deal is this year.&nbsp\\; Once you see the 09s&nbsp\\;have a few new models, different colors, and changed out some chrome do-dads you can then try to get a good under msrp deal on the leftover 08.&nbsp\\; I am almost temped to guess if HD was to make a engine change it would be to the sportsters. They have been running the EVO based motor for decades now and at some point you would think they would redo it.&nbsp\\; This is only the 3rd year for the TC96 so I dont look for them to make any changes.&nbsp\\; They may create a new model and try to expand the touring with a REVO based tourer, but that rumor has been out for about 7 years now.&nbsp\\; Most people think a 3-4% increase in MSRP for 09.

 

Look for a frame change (again) in the touring bikes, I know..that doesn't make a lick of sence, but..again...another rumor from a pretty reliable source.
Pretty sure the CVO Street Glide is real though.
Another V-Rod model also.

 

Same dilemma as I had last year. 07 RKC seemed to have all I wanted and I nearly ordered, but glad I waited to find the 08 has Brembos and ABS. For the sake of a few weeks I would wait and see. Might have the option to get an 08 a bit cheaper then also

 

I would wait.&nbsp\\; When the 09s are out if you can live with an 08, chances are you will be able to get a good deal on an 08.&nbsp\\; You will not get a good deal on an 09 right when they come out.

 

You can either wait. Or buy.

I'll ride my 06 until HD makes some serious upgrades. A hotter running 96"
motor,crap six speed,and bandaid IDS is not much of an improvement over
a good running 88" motor.

 

you will be riding an 88 in forever!! They will soon be liquid cooled. Might as well by a honda
