Custom Vehicle Operations or Screamin Eagle. Special bikes like the Screamin Eagle Ultra of the past few years. The new bikes will be on the showroom by July 12th. I do know that they have moved it up recently from the old days of just after Sturgis. The dealer reps have already seen and ridden them.
If you look back to the 2004 Screamin' Eagle Electra Glides you all will see that the SG \\; was basically a copy of this model. \\; I just sold and '04 Screamin' Eagle Electra Glide and have one more with only 17K miles if anyone is interested. May have to threaten the wife to sell this one, but I think she will give in. lol \\; I'm waiting to see if there are any up grades in the 2009 Street Glide instead of jumping in and buying a '08 now when it is so close to the '09's coming out. Better wait, than being sorry you moved too fast in my opinion. I sold the '04 Screamin' Eagle just so I can get a new Street Glide with at least the up grades that came out in '08. If there are no up grades worthy, I will look for an '08 at a reduced price. This is the \\; way to go at this stage of the game in my humble opinion. \\;
I'm still looking for that liquid cooled 2000cc VROD motor in the touring platform, ABS, NAV, CD, XM, Brembos, stock 18"er's front and rear, and a 60 month warranty. \\; What da ya think?
I've been watching the H-D website daily. \\; The new models should be pictured online within the next week or two. \\; (I \\;hope) \\; Not that I'm planning to buy one...just curious is all.
I was helping a freind in stall some harley custom wheel on his 08 fatboy and was looking over the instructions and it said that the 200mm wide rim would fit a 09 touring bike.
seen a few aftermarket fairing kits on the v-rod, harley will always try and kill the aftermarket so.......some upgrades will probably be mecanical to adress issues with the 96 inch they may not sound like much but could make for a more reliable smoother quieter ride
