Transmission noise
My 05 Road King with 2300 miles on it sounds like the transmission is comming apart when I shift gears. I switched to Mobil 50W90 and the noise is the same. Would 50W140 quiet it down or is that too heavy? My 04 FX Springer is as quiet and \\;solid as it gets. Are all Harley transmission different? \\;

You will get thousands of opinions on what transmission fluid to use. \\; Heres mine: \\; Redline HeavyShock. \\; been using it since day one. 10k later still smooth. looks like pepto bismol and smells like burnt cat hair.
