electrical question, mounting lighting
 \\;i am taking a trip and wanted to mount some aux lights, but only temporarily. \\; so i bought some inexpensive units. \\;
the problem: \\; 07 RK has 3 wires in the head lamp for aux which i assume is for the extra unused toggle switch. \\; the lighting comes with a switch and fuse etc. \\; i don't want to use their set up but i want to use the bikes aux. \\; the lights have only 2 wires coming from it, a black wire which is for grounding and a white wire which connects to the switch. \\; the switch has a ground wire connection, a wite wire connection attaches to the light and a red wire with fuse to go to the pos. \\; side of the battery. \\;
question: how do i connect the 2 wire lights without using the switch set up.

What's the rating on the fuse? \\;
Sounds like you need:
 \\;
new lights black to ground
new lights white to your bike's AUX switch.
 \\;
Make sure your AUX switch can handle the current the lights will draw. \\; I don't know what that is rated at or how much your new lights will draw. \\;

To be _really_ safe, wire a relay in:
HD AUX switch energizes relay coil, other side of relay coil grounded.
relay contacts replace the aftermarket switch you have now and have one contact connected to battery + through your red wire/fuse, other contact goes to white wire to new lights. \\; New lights black wire to ground.
