Been avraging 39-42 mpg, 2 Up. Headed on a trip from NE Wis to Louisville Kentucky during 4th of July week. I'll keep track and report back but wont be surprised to see 42+avg for the trip. Have Pre Emiss SE Slip-ons, SE A/C and Sert with no dyno tune.

I was pleased with my 46.75 mpg this past Sunday after a 130 mile afternoon ride on 2 lane hills and twisties, speeds of 45-55 and some stretches of 60 mph.&nbsp\\; One of my riding buddies filled up his '02 Heritage both before and after the ride at the same time I did.....he got 56 mpg!!! And he's not even using synthetic oils.

You know they can claim "higher efficiency" all they want, but in my opinion the only thing synthetic oils are really going to do better than petro-based is resist thermal breakdown.&nbsp\\; In a harley [or any air cooled motor], that is reason enough to spend the extra money.
