PC3 and Coil problems.
Hope someone can shed some light on a problem that my 2007 STREET GLIDE is having.
over the winter months i added a PC3 from Fuel Moto and when spring time arrived i was riding, that bike was running great and the PC3 was a great addition. mid May my bike started acting up and i brought it to the dealer and the issue was a bad coil. The dealer removed my PC3 and when i got the bike home i re-installed the PC3.
The bike worked fine for a few weeks and this week it happened again. Could the PC3 be causing the Coil to fail the way it is? The bike just stutters between 1600 rpms and 2000 rpms. I removed the PC3 last night and tried the bike again and it still happens with the stock ECM.
I am confused, why would this be happening, anyone else having issues like this?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Why would the dealer remove the PC3 in the first place, isn't the coil under the gas tank still. My 92 glide was located there. But it still doesn't make any sence for the dealer to remove the PC3. Are you sure you got the same PC3 back.
Technically, here the U.S. an EPA-regulated anything is not supposed to leave a dealer / shop in any condition which puts it outside of EPA compliance. I fear that crackdowns will start becoming common not too far down the road.
In respect to this particular problem, the PC-III does not get between the coil and the ECM, if I remember correctly. I had a look at mine some time ago and so far as I recall, the only connections from the ECM that it intercepts are those going to the injectors. So it does not seem likely to me that it is causing your coil problems.

thanks for the response Glenn, the bike is going to the dealer in the morning, hopefully they figure out the issue, I have a 2 week trip planned, leaving on July 11th.
It's very unlikely the PC111 is causing
the problems you are having.
Remove the PC111 before you take the bike
to the stealer (they will blame the PC111)
without any effort to solve the REAL problem [:@]

My 07 is in right now being checked out. \\; I got a bad front coil and a rich rear O2 sensor error. \\; I've had stuttering and cutouts at temps 45 degrees F and under. \\; Just this week it started running rough and sometimes not idling. \\; It ran rough in low gears at 2k to 2.5k and stedy throttle. \\; It might be coincience or maybe there is a problem coming to light with coils. \\; BTW it's got 34K on the clock.
If you take the bike to dealer and remove PCIII do you also need to remove high flow AC and replace with stock if you have it? Will keeping high flow A/C affect how bike runs without PC III??
