Greetings to all from Sunny Egypt, land of the Pharoes
 \\;
I have an 08 Road King Clasic and I am considering a motor upgrade. Upgrade kits are out of the question as I live in Egypt and there are no qualified builders.
 \\;
From what I could gather from the S&\\;S website, there are no S&\\;S complete motors for 08 models
 \\;
One alternative is the Jims. Any body has experience with these motors? How reliable are they? How smooth while cruising? I understand the Jims 130 is out next month and I like it but I am worried about reliabiliy issues.
 \\;
Another option is a Screeming Eagle 110 from HD, HD states that it will fit only on SE models. No clue why. Any way around this?
 \\;
Warmest Regards form Sunny Cairo all
Thank you all for your input.This is a great forum. Looks like I shouldn't try the Jims.... I will be doing some research on the Screaming Eagle Motor installation on a normal bike as this looks like the only option left.
 \\;
Thanks
Just wondering, but why drop a brand new motor in it? \\; You've already got a new motor. \\; If it doesn't have the poop you want, why not just upgrade. \\; There's about 2000 options to take the motor you've got, and make it much, much better performance wise, and you won't spend near the amount of $$. \\; Or are you just rolling in $$ over in the SandBox, and have the need for a new engine? \\; Just my .02, fwiw...
