Last October I traded my 04 low rider in for a SG. I had V&H true duals w/ovals, stage 1, SERT, custom map done. All my freinds and wife call this bike the geezer glide. They say I am to young for this bike. Another freind of mine who is only 27 also bought a SG. He had the 95 kit, and Thunderheader 2-1 with false left side muffler done. This exhaust is loud and sounds awsome. Anyways, yesterday we took are SG's out for about two hours. I still cannot get the smile of my face. These bikes are fun to ride, perform great, and handle great for such a big bike. So I guess my 27 year old freind and I are the worlds youngest geezers, because I love this bike and can't see myself ever owning anything but a HD touring bike. Just thought I would share this with everyone. No point, just a rant. We are taking them to Sturgis this summer. We both rode there last year.
I've been on dressers since I was 28, I'm now 54. Our friends would ride from bar to bar or city to city. The Wife and myself would be riding state to state. [sm=burnout.gif]
It depends how you like to ride, but if you like to cover ground there's nothing better than a bagger to do it on.
Enjoy it ! I'm 39 now and rapidly heading into geezerdom! I've had a raked and lowerd FXR for years and ran a chopped Ironhead for a long time.
I took a lot of heat from family and friends when I went to the dark side. F*ck them.
This past year, my Unk, who is "old school" riding rigid Shovles for 20 yrs and a current evo WG, busted my ***** without mercy , now he is even finally coming around. He sat on the bike after I set up the tour pac to be removable and put a solo seat on it over the winter.
The best for me as he was sitting on it, he started mumbling that it was pretty sweet and looked a million times better now that is was stripped down. He started telling me how my aunt was starting to bust his ***** to get a glide, cause she is sick of packing 2 up on his WG and really loved the ride and the tour pac backrest on my Eglide when I gave her this past fall.

Happened to me too. Too bad that I waited so long to experience the touring bikes.
Sounds like you're looking at this the way you should be. Good for you!
I've said this before but it's worth repeating: There is nothing 'geezerish' about having a little wind protection, someplace to store extra gear, or the chance to listen to your favorite music. When someone hears me coming with Ted Nugent cranking, do you think they are expecting to see an 80-year-old feller drive by?
Note: No offense meant to the 80 year-olds amongst us. My dad just turned 82 and if his Lambretta still ran, he would probably still be riding it.
I'm not on a geezer glide, but I am on a King and don't turn 29 until next month.
My buddies all all on dyna's and sporties. I feel like the old man on my bike....Then I just think about how I'm going to get the f***r paid off by early next week- after only 7 months. Then I laugh very hard and don't give a rats *** what other people think.
I am a geezer and proud of it. I train in Isshinryu karate and ride Harley Davidson motorcycles. I fight three times a week every week. I like to have the strong young guys come to my karate class. They come in all puffed up and leave calm and quiet. The smart ones hang around and learn some things.
They can call me a bald old man and make fun of the bike I ride, but make no mistake I can still stomp a mud hole in their ***.

I'm early 40's and wish I had your attitude when I was thirty. I would've been on my "Geezer Glide" in total comfort years ago. A 500 mile day is childs play now!
Yesterday I was trip'in on Pink Floyd on my Glide.
