I just got \\;my 1st Harley \\;(2008 streetglide) and love it.
The 1st couple things I want to deal with are, louder pipes, Better air cleaner?
What are the best pipes to get? I also found a picture of a bike online and I really like the looks of this air cleaner. Does anyone know where I would find it? Maybe your opinions on if it is a good idea to change from the stock air cleaner? I am going to try and stick a picture in here.
Any advise would be great
Thanks....Mike

EXHAUST 101: Let your EARS do the work for you. Its RIDING SEASON, get over to a Rally or a bike nite or? \\; Listen to the Putts coming and going. When YOUR EARS hears that SPECIAL SOUND get over and take to the rider and see what He\\Shes running. To often people replace exhaust after exhaust because they never put there EARS TO WORK FOR THEM
Welcome aboard. \\; Be aware that once you change the air cleaner and exhaust, you must do some upgrades to your ECM. \\; There's a ton of products out there, Power CommanderIII being one. \\; Harley has theirs, Zippers has theirs... You have to change the fuel to air ratio once you start tweaking with the intake (air) and exhaust. \\; It's mandatory or you'll fry that engine. \\; You've got to decide what you want. \\; Good advise to hit the search button, and do some research. \\; Talk to folks to get a better feel. \\; You'll get all kinds of opinions on this forum, all good, but might not be right for you. \\; Be your own man, and do a little homework. \\; You'll be glad you did. \\; Good Luck, \\; CCRyder
That is a screaming eagle heavy breather from Harley. Good advice fron SoCal Pappy . Listen and find what appeals to you, then see what your budget affords you. Its a good time of year to hear alot of bikrs. Congrats on the new scoot!
Welcome. \\; You will find that once you start to add extras, it is a neverending process. \\; I was convinced that all I would add was an air horn and a back rest for the wife. \\; Since then new exhaust, PCIII, K&\\;N Air Cleaner and so on and so on. \\; Once again welcome. \\;
