Where can you find the Born on Date on the flhtcu? \\; I was actually looking for the month my bike was made. \\; I have been reading a lot about the \\;fuel canister problems on the 08!?
I removed the tank from my 2002 \\;FLHP-I, and found label with \\;the date 10/17/01 on the frame underneath it. \\; I don't know the significance of the label, or what years it is present on. \\;
There should be something with a month and year somewhere near the front of the bike. I am still looking for it on the Ultra, but on my Sporty, it is on the right down tube.
 \\;
I am looking for the build date also, as I have an '08 and am worried about the fuel pump problem.
On my 08 Roadking Classic, turn handle bars full right, pull down on wire harness at top of frame and there is a data plate with serial number and "born on date" under the harness.

Yep,
This is exactly where the month and year is located.
You should have gotten a born on certificate with any new bike purchase, I know I did.
Mine was borne on 4-23-07 and I purchased on 5-5-07, 12 days later. She was fresh! In the crate and never been farted on.

If you lift up the can and look on the bottom you can usually find the born on date. \\; Most of the times they have it listed on the outside of the 12 pack carton also.
