Get the Sundowner ! I just finished a ten day trip with this seat almost 4000 miles and was never more comfortable on a bike in my life. My wife could'nt go an hour on the stock seat and she had no issues on this trip at all. This seat is worth its weight in gold !
For what its worth, though I loved the Sundowner, the wife found it too small and too hard for her liking. That is for the 07 version of the seat. The 08 version of the seat is wider on the rear section. (you didn't mention what year of SG you bought) so if you have an 08, I would say the Sundowner is a better option for passenger comfort than it was in 07-prior.
Put the sundonwer on yesterday for the first time. It is night and day. An all day seat for sure. Now if I can find myself a solo that feels the same way I'll be great.
Going to get the Sundowner on friday, also quick release backrest and docking for a \\;quick release rac for a tour pac, \\;and antenna relocate kit.
