On and off with an occaisional pop sounds electrical. Chek all battery connections first, then check the other end of the cables and make sure they are tight also. Then take all the electrical connections apart and look for corrosion, clean them and put some di-electric grease on them. This doesn't take too long to do and you can do it yourself. If the problem still exists then it is fuel. When you are checking the battery connections it would be a good time to put some star washers on them. Hope this helps.

Check the wiring to the fuel injectors\\; they have been known to brake under the insulation from the engine moving around causing an intermittent problem.

If he loses all power when it happens it is a short causing the circuit breaker to pop.&nbsp\\; If it is like he is running out of gas, I would suspect the fuel line in the tank.

Like has been said, check all the connections, especially anything in the ECM/spark plug/fuel injector connectors.&nbsp\\; Clean with contact cleaner and add dielectric grease.

Does not loose all power just cuts out like a loss of fuel
