\\; Anybody know of a way to extend the brake pedal, or pedal pad/cover out? \\; away from the frame?
I have seen floorboard extension kits that look interesting but nothing for the brake. \\; I have trouble getting my leg around the air cleaner and getting my foot fully on the brake pedal
 \\; \\; \\; \\; thanks
Looks like you have the stock brake pedal on. \\; An extender is sold by the dealers (I can't remember if it is HD or not, but I bought mine there) \\; (EZ Brake, perhaps). \\; At any rate, change the metal then add the floorboard extenders. \\; It's not perfect but it is better.
i believe the extenders only move the brake pedal forward. he is looking to move it out. \\; i haven't seen a wider brake pedal (though i haven't really looked for one either) so the only thing i can think of is to change the football ac cover out for a round one that is out of the way of your leg.
HMM, \\; I do have the HD round air cleaner, \\; only with a custom skull attatched sticks out another 3/4" max
\\; \\; I am probably mistaken but it looks to me that most riders even with longer legs would have to bend their leg slightly around any air cleaner to get their foot squarely on the brake pedal \\; \\; guess I am missing something, or... that 3/4" is making the difference
I have the same problem. My foot hits the outside 2" of the pedal. I have an extended brake pedal and 3/4" floorboard extenders. I could use a wider brake pedal. Seems like a I saw that someone was making an extended pedal with a bend in it to move the pedal out but I don't want to change the pedal I have. Anyone know where I can find a wider brake pedal? Thanks. Steve
