I have an 02 WG that I have had for a little over 2 years. \\; I have begun to take longer trips and an looking to get a touring bike. \\; A buddy has a SG and says it is the best bike he has had. \\; Wife likes the looks of the WG, but I am leaning towards the comfort of the SG. \\; Wife said just get two bikes (she is great!), but the kicker was to get the WG paid off first. \\; Since that is a few years away and I am impatient, I was wondering what price every one is paying for on 08 SG? \\; Dealer here in Dallas area has stock SG listed at $22,000, that is with no upgrade to pipes or anything.
Every dealer is in the unique position to have to deal. \\; Check em out. \\; \\; If you're close to a Metro area, there may be 1/2 dozen dealers within 100 miles. \\; You'll be amazed at the price difference. \\; I also just read a thread where the guy took a money order with him for the amount he wanted to pay. \\; After visiting like 5 dealers, one said ok, and he walked out the door with the bike he wanted for the price he wanted. \\; Patience is a virtue. \\; It's a buyers market now, so shop around before you lock in on one that you fall in love with. \\; Good Luck, CCRyder
Traded my 02 Wide Glide with 40K miles for a SG in April. \\; Wow. \\; Why didn't I do that sooner? \\; Don't miss it at all. \\; SG much easier on the road to ride and drive. \\; Touring is so much more fun. \\; Jump at it.
Why not look for a well treated used 2007 FLHX. I drive one and it is great. i bought mine new but I am sure you could get a low mileage used bike and still keep the WG for a lot less money and spend the difference on making it yours!
ULTRA \\; for touring and youll pay almost the same for it as the street glide. its cheeper to take off the travel pack than add one. \\;u already got a hot rod \\;for runnin around town
