I like the SE Ultra. Maybe better breathing and slip-ons for the future. For my height, I gotta watch the mods do that the pipes don't burn the calves.
Stock? Heck, mine didn't even come "stock." There's always a few add-ons the dealer includes. I haven't done anything radical, but still added a chrome doo-dad here and there. New pipes, SERT, more bags, etc. I guess I just couldn't leave well enough alone. It may not be better than stock, but I like what I've done.
The MOCO could almost afford to give the bikes away IF we signed an agreement to buy ALL our accessories from them! Customizing is a sickness ALL Harley riders are afflicted with and that won't change anytime soon. In my mind, a totally unique Harley would be one left in as shipped condition. \\; I don't believe I've ever seen one!
You obviously are aware of the heat issue. Instead of the mods you are looking at, or in addition to them, just richen up the air/fuel ratio slightly and your bike will perform better and run cooler.
