Did anyone notice that the initialization procedure is different now?? \\; There is no reference to idling to a 289 degree head temp with the IAC stop function selected. \\; Not sure what effect this will have, but I loaded the updated map for my setup, initialized with the on-off sequence and haven't had a single decel pop in the last 200 miles or so. \\; I also updated to the 4.8 firmware also. \\; Not sure what exactly is addressed in that update, but the bike is running even better now.
I think there was an issue with the heat range for the auto-tun learning. \\; They also increased the heat alarm up to 350(F) degrees. \\; The map I was running does not exist anymore they upgraded it to a newer version.
This update is amazing, did the firmware first and made a huge difference in decel pops almost none,
then loaded new map for fatcats, and have not gotten a decel pop yet, and runs noticably cooler.
The new maps are definitely worth a try. \\; I was running 272 for 6 months \\;about 5000 miles with the fuel mileage mods and changed to the new 447 \\; \\; \\; \\; \\; \\ ; \\; \\; \\; \\; \\; \\;& nbsp\\; \\; been running 447 straight up for about 1000 miles and it has been an awesome improvement
