Wobble
I have noted none of the low speed wobble you describe.
I often Line Dance the bike (much to my wife's dismay and usually is followed by a smack to the back of my helmet) when I first start out to ensure the bike is handling correctly before I start pounding her into turns, and she always dances like a pro.
As has been noted, correct tire pressure - and rear suspension air pressure - are keys to a Dancing Bike. Don't let those Road Glides impress you too much - they are fine bikes, but your Ultra is more than capable of handling like the very fine machine IT is. The engineering is there.
I do agree about the high speed issues caused by the Bat Wing fairing. The stationary fairings found on other Harleys and Gold Wings are much better from an engineering standpoint when driving the bike at high speeds.

My first wobble experience was on a 1969 CB 350. I was in the middle of the pineapple fields on Oahu with the throttle full open. That bike danced the hula and freaked me out. I was going to bail but something told me just to ride it out. Never trusted the POS ever again.
If you do get into a high speed wobble: slowly back of the throttle and stay off the brakes while leaning as far forward as possible and praying loudly.
But seriously, I got into a kind of strange wobble this afternoon. Being one of my first rides for the season I'll admit that I'm not really feeling in the groove yet. But I was pulling off the interstate. I took the exit ramp a bit hard, probably about 60. I started feeling the faint beginings of a wobble. Makes me wonder if I shouldn't take my bike in to have the suspension checked. I did just check the pressure on the suspension before that ride. I'm a big guy (250lbs) so I tend to run my tires at 40psi and my front and rear suspension at 20psi front and 30psi rear.
BTW -does that sound right for the front and rear suspension on a 2000 EG Classic? I've looked up the recommended pressures from a number of different sources and find recommendations to be all over the place. Some places suggest a front suspension up in the 30s, while other places list the maximum of 15. I'm more than a little confused.

Instead of praying ...............do the smart thing........
Come off the throttle and apply the rear brake lighty. This stretches out the bikes suspension. This has worked for me many times at high speeds

it's ALWAYS a good ideal !!!
im not the worlds expert rider, and i know for a fact that the LORD has saved my bacon many times !!!

Will be checking preasures and alignment this week. Went for a ride today and was fine except for the rain groove jitters, but every bike I've ever owned jittered on the rain grooves! Still havent seen the accutrak maybe this week. Thanks for all the info!!
