Fuel pressure problem hits N. Calif

Yesterday I took my S/G in for some warranty work to the Folsom HD dealer where I bought my glide.&nbsp\\; The fuel gauge light was not working.&nbsp\\; While I was there I asked the service writer about the problem regarding the breaking plastic part in the 08 bikes.&nbsp\\; He said he has never heard of that.&nbsp\\; I asked him if I bought the part myself would they still replace under warranty if it broke.&nbsp\\; He said he didnt know and just then the warranty manager walked.&nbsp\\; The service writer siad heres the guy to ask.&nbsp\\; So I asked him about the breaking part in the tank that makes the fuel pressure stop.&nbsp\\; His&nbsp\\; eyes opened up wide and he said he just got his first one just 15 minutes ago on a cop bike.&nbsp\\; He said the cop hit a 4 inch curb and the part I was refering too broke off.&nbsp\\; So I explained to him how this seems to already be happening all over on the east coast, and how the part was supposedly re-designed for the assembly line but bikes are sitting in shops all over waiting for the back ordered part.&nbsp\\; I told him I learned of this through the members on HD forums.&nbsp\\; He thanked me for the heads up and told his parts guy to order 20 of them.&nbsp\\; Then he told me that if mine breaks and I have my own replacement he would make sure I got reimbursed for the part.&nbsp\\; Than I picked up my bike and they freakin washed it spotless for a .2 hour warranty job.&nbsp\\;
