I have a 2008 SG and was thinking about getting a Sundowner seat. \\; Unfortunately, they do not make the "SG" Sundowner Seat yet for the 2008 models. \\; However, they do make a Sundowner deep bucket seat - smooth". \\;
 \\;
I was checking out what seats they made for the 2007 Streetglides and I noticed that there is a Sundowner deep bucket seat and a Sundowner touring bucket seat. \\; Other than the obvious (the "deep" bucket would be a little bit deeper than the "touring" model), is there much of a difference between the two models? \\; While the extra back support would be nice, I don't want my butt to suffer due to a potential lack of cushon. \\;
 \\;
Any help is much appreciated. \\; I plan on taking a long trip at the end of the month and need to figure out if I should get the "deep" bucket seat now or wait until the SG Sundowner "touring" version comes out later this year. \\; BTW - the 2008 model appears to be 1 inch wider for the rider and 2 inches wider for the passenger (compared to the 2007 models).
 \\;
Thanks. \\;
I have the sundowner on my 08 SG. \\; \\; I love it!!! The wife loves it too. \\; I tried the stock seat and there is no comparison. \\; You will love the sundowner.
Is that the deep bucket or touring Sundowner? \\;\\\\\\; There appears to be two Sundowners available and I am trying to figure out which one is best... Never mind. \\; I see you have a 2008 so it must be the deep bucket.
I have the deep bucket seat on my 08 SG. \\; Far better than stock. \\; Also better than my last mustang seat. \\; \\; Seat position is about the same as stock. \\; Pilon is much wider and much thicker.
Ok, here is the part number of my Sundowner \\; 52093-08. \\; On my parts list, it says Sundowner Seat, Tour
 \\;
My picture shows the sundowner seat.
I want a sundowner for my SG also. \\; dealer told me to wait a couple of week, because the new parts catalog will be coming out when the new bikes are released, and that they might have new seats for the 08's in there.

Thinking about selling mine. I've only put a few hundred miles on it but it pushes me to far forward. It helps the arms and the wrist but my 32" inseam is now give me issues. I can't put my feet off the end because im already there with the seat. The seat is much more confortable than the stock SG seat. If I keep it I now have to mod the foot rest out and forward. It never ends !!!
