Been there, done that, except my landing was harder than yours, mine was on asphalt. Totaled my bike, but it was older and not worth as much. \\; Lucky for me, I had one at home in the bullpen waiting to go.
Glade youâre all right. \\; The bike can be repaired. \\; Unfortunately we take a little longer to mend.  \\; I only had my 08 Ultra Classic for two months (My first Harley) and laid it down at 40 mph+.  \\;Glad I had a leather jacket. \\; Iâm still hurting from that one and still riding (I'm 50). \\; I'm still able to ride her until the parts come in to fix her up.
 \\; Take care, things happen so fast out there. \\;

I miss riding already even though I probably couldn't hold it up. I'm 50, too. I know it's gonna take longer to heal than it used to.I'm headin' to my brothers place shortly to check it out in the daylight. I wanna get some pics of it and I'll try to post them. Looked pretty bad last night.
I'm glad you're OK. \\; Very similar situation for me two weeks ago. \\; I put it in a ditch, tore up the left side of the bike and separated my shoulder (among other things). \\; It's aggravating to have that happen after riding well for so long! \\; I guess we'll heal, the bikes will get fixed, and we'll move on. \\; Good luck with recovery.
Didn't I read it looked a lot worse last night? \\; Once again, glad you're ok, and now you can do all those custom trick upgrades and you've got an excuse.  \\;
Glad you're OK and around to talk about it.
The most painful part of the healing are those nice days that you can't ride.
 \\;
I decided to take on a car head on a couple months ago, bike in Avitar was totaled, I made it to tell the story, just started riding my new Road King on a limited basis til I heal up totally.
 \\;
And yeah, healing takes a little longer than it used to....
