You know when it's hot?
When a big burly man gets off his Harley in the dead of traffic. It was an awful site, watching him stare at the heat waves coming off his ex police style bike.
My 08 Harley was at the shop getting its first money pit transformation, stage 1, pipes, mobile syn. oil. and I have already purchased and installed RJ Originals.
I don't how you guys from Texas ride in the heat or do you just leave your bikes at home on those 100 degree days?
I heard Harley is coming out with the Liquid Cooled engine for '09 - Any truth to that??

I live in the very southern tip of Texas and it does get hot. \\; I try and ride most days to work, 45 miles each way. \\; Yesterday got stuck in traffic and it did get hot, both me and the bike.

LOL - I ride in my shorts but I still feel the heat.
I haven't had my Harley very long but I'm starting to miss the beamer at those stop lights.
BUT my money has been spent and I LOVE THE LOOK of my Ultra just not the red thighs.
I think if Harley does come out with liquid cooled, their sales would go up. They just need to keep that Harley sound and look.

Can you say true duals? The Gold Wings \\;are not as hot at a traffic lite but I was uncomfortable on a 80 degree day with my 1500 and 1800(2) wings. Did you ever wonder what all those plastic wings hanging all over the \\;Gold Wings \\;are for?

Heck it was only a 100 today. \\; Just got back from a short 120 miles. \\; It was great. \\; Just have to take a couple of diet Dr. Peppers to cool off.

Today we'll see 120+ ambient, with the tarmac being around 150-160 F.
