i have done a search but have found nada on 08 grip change instructions. \\; trying to see how much of a pita it is going to be. \\; allelp is greatly appreciated.
Just swapped in a set of Kury's on my 08 Street Glide. It's very simple, just undo 2 torx screws on the switch housing, seperate the halves and pull the grips off. New ones slide right on, just make sure the throttle sensor at the end of the bar meshes with your new grips cleanly.
\\;I put new Kuryaken grips on my 08 ultra, no glue needed. \\; It's locked in place by the clutch perch,
Also, getting the sensor out of the old grip is a pain. the wire is only about 2-3 inches long..so you can't see in there to see what is holding it. I finally gave it a jerk, and the old throttle grip came off. \\; easy job... but cover the tank with a big blanket, as the mirrors my come tumbling down as you loosen them.
