Has anyone wondered about how good the premium fuel is with the price of fuel now days? \\; Seems to me that we may be running stale fuel that is not getting used up? \\; Just wondering?

A friend that works on gas station pumps told me there should be no residual gas from the previous person as the pumps have a "pull-back" operation that sucks the gas back down when the pump is shut off. You should be getting 100% of the grade you selected.

thats what my friend said who works at a station, it's partly due to safety.

If it really bothers you just squirt a third of a gallon in the garbage can! 
 \\;87 octane has more 'bang' anyways so if it doesnt ping then I don't care. If its under 75 degrees I usually run lower octane, you can hear how its acting with the gas.

Two different sizes nozzles. Diesel nozzle is larger than gas nozzle. Plus it's illegal to pump diesel and gasoline through the same nozzle.

does it really make a difference to bitch about it? there are 3 different tanks. 3 different filters and yes one hose. when you hit the premium button or flip the handle it switches over to the premium.
