I just got a Sundowner seat for my SG, and I went for a ride of 600 miles. It seems to be the leading candidate for long trips in the future. I have been so several long trips of 3-4 thousand miles on the stock seat. I liked the stock seat, because of me being able to slide back and forth on it...That worked for me, but there is always room to improve. So the Sundowner, hopefully&nbsp\\;seems likely&nbsp\\;to be the one. I also have a Comfortstitch for when the wife rides. My 2 cents

 

Sundowner or Mustang. The one piece mustang is a bit wider, about an inch or so, and has less of a bucket feel to it. Weather thats good or bad is kinda up to you. The one concern I would have with the Sundowner is that your a good sized guy, and I think the Mustang would last longer and stay comfortable for you longer as they are built better and I think the foam would hold up better over the years for someone of your size. Of course, you can just about buy 2 Sundowners to 1 Mustang.
