dip stick

I know this is a very stupid question ,but I just brought a 2000 RK classic and I have turned on the dip stick and pulled just a little on it but how do you get that thing out? I'm new to this forum so go easy on me. Thanks

This is no twist top bottle. Just pull. Harder. That style is not screw retained.

as an added tip put a little clean oil around the rubber seal before the reinstall. it will seal the dipstick and keep it from seeping oil durting riding
