ok, i assume this is an issue i haven't read yet. noticed it when i took the radio out, facing the bike with the outter fairing off on the right side at the very top mounting point on the inner fairing. any good fix ideas?? thanx
I say so what if it is under warranty they just replace it with the same thing that broke in the first place, I just had one brake when I was riding to work yesterday, so I pulled it in the shop(I'm the boss, and I am early) pull the outer, and the bracket weld it up with stainless wire,then I added a stainless 1/8th inch rod over the area that brakes all the time, I doubt that it will brake again.  \\;
If you take a picture of the failure and send it to the MoCo will they will send you a patch?

Oh, my bad... that was some other MoCo program. \\; Don't bother with the warranty repair... it will just break again... "L" bracket repair works best IMO.
Thanks, you need a drill and a steel drill bit to put a hole into the bracket upright, but after that nothing but a bit o blue loctite for the hexscrew. Took longer to take the fairing off than it did to make the fix.
