Gel seat inserts
Has anyone had these inserts installed and how much of a difference do they make?

About the only thing I hate on the 08 UC is the seat, it sucks. \\; Bought Saddlemans gel pads covered in the fake sheep skin, and it is the bomb, bought one for the better half also. \\; Wouldn't leave home without them. \\; A lot cheaper that new seat.

Called Ride and Leather this morning and they set me up for the install this afternoon. \\; They install the gel pad and then cover with a couple inches of memory foam. \\; Put the original seat cover back on. \\; Couple hundred dollars to do Ultra seat for rider and passenger. \\; Looks good but I haven't tried it out yet.

I had gel inserts installed in a seat and it was worse than before. Real hard. It felt good for about 1/2 hour-then like a rock.

Tried it out today. \\;\\\\\\; The feel was a little more firm, but seems to work. \\;\\\\\\; The real test will be later this week when I take a longer trip.
