2005 E-Glide Classic, MPG
I'm new here, and I'm sure you guys have had this question before. Just bought a 2005 E-Glide Classic with V &\\; H's true duals with 16000 miles. Bike is carbureted with stock filter. No other goodies yet.  \\;Running 93 octane fuel and I'm getting around 35 mpg running 55-60 mph, and not running the bike hard. If I run it fairly hard it's down to 30. Pulled the plugs and they looked good, \\;Tail pipes are getting black on the ends. I'm not over using the enricher. My question is, is \\;this the best this thing will do?

The bike came from NC. and I live in the mountains of VA. \\;\\\\\\;so I'm thinking it may be the altiitude difference. All I know is it's hard on fuel!!

i have an 05 e glide with 103 motor, fuel injected. \\; vance and hines slip ons with stage one kit. \\; average 40mpg regardless of riding. \\; might consider putting a higher flow air filter.

i have an 02 E-Glide classic pretty much stock with EFI,,,low to mid 40's here regardless of riding style. going to go with true duals and stage 1 a/c with PCIII here next month
