Default 98 ultra wont start
Help, my 98 ultra wont start. I turn the key on and get lights but dont hear the fuel pump pressurize. Nothing happens when I hit the start button. I checked the kill switch, seems fine. Checked all the fuses I could find, all good. Is there any other common problem I could check before calling the shop. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Nothing but an oil change two weeks ago. Sorry ,I fell&nbsp\\;asleep.12 hour shifts are brutal.

recheck all fuses with a meter..recheck the switches(starter, run/off,main)..is battery dead? (12+volts)..is power getting to starter?

check connections to starter..loose?...have you changed handlebars,grips,levers in past few months?

i believe you have relays under the seat?..do they click? when you press start button ?

Thanks for the replies. Making a list for sat. morning , bike shut down at my friends house and had to leave it there. Got to take the cage to work. Have been riding the hog for 3 years and haven't changed anything.Well, besides service items (tires plugs oil ect}.It's been a rock. Has only 46k on it. Will keep checking post and let you know what happens sat.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Thanks again.

Try replacing your starter relay, main breaker, or main relay.&nbsp\\; Also check and replace end connections.&nbsp\\; These are fairly cheap.
