Found a great deal on an Arc Audio KS125.2 mini amp, and want to get it installed in my SG. \\; I would prefer to make a clean, modular installation - using proper connectors instead of wire nuts and electrical tape.
 \\;
Has anyone installed one on their scoot? \\; Appreciate any tips/tricks. \\; And if you have a source for connectors so I can make my own harness, I would appreciate it.
 \\;
Thanks,
Resto
i installed a blaupukt pa2100 inside my fairing. what can i tell you?
 \\;
Blueflht,
How does that pa2100 work out for you? \\; I have 2 laying in the garage from a previous car. \\; I may have to get some 5.25" speakers and upgrade the stereo. \\; Did you pull it out of the plastic case to make it fit in the faring easier? \\; Does it pull much in the way of power that you have noticed, any problem with battery drain? \\; I would love to see some pics of the install if you have them. \\; I am sure that would help restorick also. \\;
 \\;
Thanks,
sorry no fotos. as for the pa 2100 it needs to come out of the case to fit. trim the gages slightly. no drain wired to acc. speakers need to be at least 100 watts rms. hard to find in 5.25 compents work but more involved \\; ill try for some fotos this weekend
Thanks, can't wait to see them. \\; I have done plenty of car stereo's, cut this is my first bike with a stereo on it. \\; I figure it should be pretty much the same. \\; Power wire goes from the + on the battery and the ground goes to something metal inside the faring. \\; Not sure about the remote turn on. \\; When you said yours is wired to the acc, do you mean the remote turn on is wired to the acc switch on the dash, or something else?
 \\;
Restorick, I hope I am not jacking your thread and that this info helps you also.
 \\;
Thanks,
Kev
I found my amp on the DIY Mobile Audio forum. Gently used - $200.
Still might be one available at that price. \\;Search for a thread by "piston" in the For Sale forum.

When I get ready to install, I'll take a bunch of pics and post them.
