If you read about the pipes and their design I don't think the left one is a FAKE !!! The frame/swingarm was probably designed to accomodate this new exhaust routing and I doubt it will fir other models. For those complaining of heat issues why don't you by a true duals set up and get rid of the cross-over pipe ?? That's what you are bitchin about isn't it ??[:@]

+1 Sometimes the easiest solution is the best solution!
woodeye i have never come across a post of yours that is not bitchin about something hd did and how it is a lie. \\; if you hate hd so much, then why don't you leave?
can i fit them on my 06 SG to move the heat away? or do i have to buy a 20,000 bike for less heat.they should stop wasting designers on exhaust and start using them for a cooler engine (watercooled)design
 \\;
It won't be long and the 09ers will be complaining about the heat. \\; Left side might be a bit cooler, but I bet the right is just as hot.
 \\;
 \\;
The 2 into 1 into 2 pipes is Harley\\\\\\;s way of saying that they do have a heat problem and this is the answer to it. Another lie
 \\;
How is a a "lie"? They know it's hot, they are trying a fix. THey can't change the air:fuel, which would make it run cooler, because of EPA. That's what Nightrider IEDs and various tuners are for.
