Default First major problem

Been hearing a whisling sound between 60 and 70 for a couple of weeks. Thought it was wind noise due to a couple of changes to the bike. It did not seem affected by gear or rpm only speed. Took it in for a 35k service and they found shavings in the tranny.
All new bearings and an output shaft later it is all done. There is a reason for changing the fluids every 5k. Glad it did not die on the road.

Yeah. It's what the MOCO called for and it's under warranty for another 5 1/2 years. If it was caused by that they will pay for it.

Yep, at the same dealer like clockwork. HD had no problems with the warranty claim.
