Default PC3 Stage 1 vs. non Stage 1

after doing a map compare, it seems the Stage 1 is a little leaner...too save fuel, would it hurt to use a Stage 1 map on a non-Stage 1 ecu?

The Stage 1 PC map is a little leaner because the Stage 1 download adds fuel.

I would go with the proper map and remove a few percent fuel throughout the cruise range.

i was thinking that but the stage 1 map kinda does that already...basically its a little richer on the low end and leans out by a couple of points on the mid/high range, which for me is fine since i mostly ride highway...

i was just wondering if i would mess anything up by doing so, i dont think it would but i wanted to ask the experts...thanks

I would leave the mid/upper stuff where it needs to be, for the times you want to use it. If you go with a little less fuel there you might have to back off the timing, too.
