If H-D didn't have a tradition of building air cooled, then I would be inclined to agree with you. \\; I've owned two other water cooled bikes and never had a lick of problems with either of them. \\; They are cooler and lower maintenance. \\; But as much as I liked my other bikes, my Harley has CHARACTER. \\; I've never likes the looks of radiators on a cruiser, and the HD just made sense. \\; I ride one at work and I wanted one of my own.

Cause the yuppies have no kinship to Harley. They dont get it.
 \\;
+1. \\; They Drive their watercooled truck/with bar+sheild logo in the back window \\;7 days a week and never have any problems with heat...
I wonder how many that are dising watercooling have owned a water cooled bike? It's a bunch easier straddleing a 185 degree motor than a 325 degree one and cooler means longer life AND more power!
 \\;\\\\\\;
The V rod motor is cooler and has WAY more power then the Twin cam...the twin cam crushes the REVO in new sales year in year out... The REVO is the Greatest motor I will never own..[]
Because of the "biker" who \\;wants to play " harley badass" or wants the harley \\;panache but are too delicate to put up with riding \\;the traditional \\;harley. \\;The MoCo \\;will probably come out with a water cooled tourer to satisfy the "mercedes" crowd.
