Too bad Harley doesnt have the quality of a Honda. Sorry to say. But I still love mine and have no desire to get rid of it.

Why all the whinning about liquid cooling? Real motorcycles are air cooled.
Buy a car or buy a wing!
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Lol....and only semi-trucks have as many marker lights as that bike does !!!

Kind of reminds me of most women, they fall in love with who you are and spend the rest of their life trying to change you into something you weren't meant to be.&nbsp\\; If the shoe fits........[sm=icon_rofl.gif]

Liquid cooling would be greatly benificial to touring models, increased HP, Torque and&nbsp\\;Passenger comfort.
Drawbacks would be radiator leaks, hose falure, fan falure.. BUT.. if it was done right, &nbsp\\;you could ride with
or without liquid cooling.&nbsp\\; Seems the lowers on an Ultra could house a radiator quite seamlessly.. a few deverter ducts
to keep the hot air going under the bike.
&nbsp\\;
Or just upgrade the revolution engine to handle the extra weight of the big frame bikes..
200 hp should do it... with a turbo upgrade option.. to 300 hp...

I wonder how many that are dising watercooling have owned a water cooled bike? It's a bunch easier straddleing a 185 degree motor than a 325 degree one and cooler means longer life AND more power!
sumpin wrong with my oil temp guage cause my bike dont run 325. mine runs 200/250
&nbsp\\;
Oil temp and cylinder head temp are two different things.&nbsp\\; Go to York factory, in the lobby they have one of the FLT's that were built for the execs when HD bought back from AMF.&nbsp\\; the bike has a wire off each cylinder head, and a "Cylinder Head Temp Guage" on the dash.&nbsp\\; Only time I've seen one.&nbsp\\;

In the future, water cooling on a Harley becomes inevitable as EPA requirements force the issue, thus solving the heat problem. Harley will continue to improve its EFI, stock performance, and ultimately move towards the obvious reliability of shaft drive, then…….wait a sec…..that sounds familiar…
