I just experienced this problem. What a bummer. I just bought my 105th Anniversery Ultra Classic the weekend of the 4th, and already have 1500+&nbsp\\;miles on it. Last week it was in for the 1k service. Last night the wife and I took a ride with no problems. This morning when I rode it to work, (5 mile trip), it&nbsp\\;was running terrible. The engine would just about stall when taking off, stumble during accelarating, and lacked major power. The dealer had it picked up this morning, and it could be a week and a half to get it fixed. I'm already going through withdrawals. Otherwise, I'm loving the bike. &nbsp\\;

if your bike was built after December 11th, 2007 and the last 6 digits are higher than 654432, then the recall may not apply to your bike.&nbsp\\; The updated fuel filter shell was supposed to be installed already on these bikes at the factory.

Thanks Chuck1 for letting us know how to look
up VIN number on HD site. I found out our ultra
is on the list. I will take it in Monday morning and
see when they can do it. It&nbsp\\;is nice of the all the
people on this site to keep us informed.
&nbsp\\;
PS, Thought it lost a little zip yesterday and sounded
a little under the weather.

I just changed it myself a week ago.&nbsp\\; I'm on the list.&nbsp\\; There are one or more open safety recalls or product improvement campaigns on your vehicle. The following list contains the campaign number and a brief description:

Recall Notice: 0135: 2008 FL TOURING FILTER SHELL

We strongly urge you to take your motorcycle to your dealer to have the appropriate service performed as soon as possible. Should you choose to ride your motorcycle prior to this service, we urge you to be aware of this condition. Some product campaigns may have expired and you may have to pay for the service. Please see your local Harley-Davidson dealer for further details.

Anybody know how long its taking the dealers to complete the repairs? Are they keeping the bikes for days or what?
