Anybody know how long its taking the dealers to complete the repairs? Are they keeping the bikes for days or what?

Took me about a half hour. \\; The recall parts are being shipped Aug 4 to dealers. \\; Some dealers might have the parts in stock, but they won't be in the recall packaging with the proper codes, etc.
mine is \\;on the llist but i ordered a \\;replacement anyway as i am about to head out of town before the dealer gets the kits. he had to get it from another dealer as moco is b.o. on them. gee i wonder why? i thought they might offer to put it in but for now i will just take it with me.

Thanks for the heads up. I've also got the head gasket "product improvement" issue along with this. Not bad for a $30,000 bike with 3500 miles huh....Not happy about all this.

There are one or more open safety recalls or product improvement campaigns on your vehicle. The following list contains the campaign number and a brief description:
We strongly urge you to take your motorcycle to your dealer to have the appropriate service performed as soon as possible. Should you choose to ride your motorcycle prior to this service, we urge you to be aware of this condition. Some product campaigns may have expired and you may have to pay for the service. Please see your local Harley-Davidson dealer for further details.
