Anybody know how long its taking the dealers to complete the repairs? Are they keeping the bikes for days or what?
&nbsp\\;
Took me about a half hour.&nbsp\\; The recall parts are being shipped Aug 4 to dealers.&nbsp\\; Some dealers might have the parts in stock, but they won't be in the recall packaging with the proper codes, etc.

if your bike was built after December 11th, 2007 and the last 6 digits are higher than 654432, then the recall may not apply to your bike.&nbsp\\;

Loud and clear. Mine is 660642. Thanks for that good info.

Thanks for the heads up. I've also got the head gasket "product improvement" issue along with this. Not bad for a $30,000 bike with 3500 miles huh....Not happy about all this.
&nbsp\\;
There are one or more open safety recalls or product improvement campaigns on your vehicle. The following list contains the campaign number and a brief description:

Product Notice: 0906: PRD PGM:07/08 CVO 110 GASKETS
Recall Notice: 0135: 2008 FL TOURING FILTER SHELL

We strongly urge you to take your motorcycle to your dealer to have the appropriate service performed as soon as possible. Should you choose to ride your motorcycle prior to this service, we urge you to be aware of this condition. Some product campaigns may have expired and you may have to pay for the service. Please see your local Harley-Davidson dealer for further details.
