Default ABS Light on

OK last night I ran through what seems to be a Major oil slick in the road. After that we were on a very rough road and it started raining really hard I could see about 50ft. Well one of these events triggerd my ABS light. I stoped in the dry for a while and cleaned around the brakes really well. Checked a few wiring connections for the ABS, got back on the road and made it home no light. Strange Night last night. Any one else had one of these events kick a ABS light at you?

Default RE: ABS Light on

Not had an ABS problem on the bike (FLHR) but did on my Isuzu Trooper - turned out to be debris stuck to the little magnet that is the stationary part of the ABS system - it runs real close to a toothed ring on the hub that provides the wheel rotation sensing for the ABS system. A good clean did the trick for the Trooper.&nbsp\\;
