No problem with mine.....But, I believe before that much time had passed I would have punched the code in and rode off?

1. learn the manual override

2. try changing the battery

3. keep your cellphone away from it

4. If 2 and 3 dont fix it, get it checked NOW. Mine was acting flakey for about 3 weeks, then it totally failed, leaving me stranded because I did not do number 1. . It turned out to be a bad antennae on the bike.
