Bradley Jones, I'm not sure why you paid over MSRP, you can get any model any time for MSRP. Most dealers will charge you MSRP, Normally around $300 for freight &\\; another $300 for set up. That's pretty much and industry standard. Some may knock off the freight &\\; set up and if they do that's great, others may give you the first service. On 09's don't expect anything UNDER MSRP.

I paid MSRP+sales Tax in March. \\; I have noticed the production cut has helped \\;firm up prices on leftover inventory this year. \\; last year there were a ton more unsold \\;07s then 08s this year. \\;
xcelr8, I stated in my thread there aren't many dealers who sell for MSRP...NO set up fees, NO document fees and NO get ready fees \\;. I believe my statement is true! I have traveled to most of the US, and I have visited probably 4-5 hundred Harley dealers....This was the ammo for my statement. You \\;probably will \\;pay freight anywhere too!
There is a dealer by me that sells at 2-3K over msrp all year long, then they go to $500-1K over msrp on leftovers. \\;The sell used bikes for new bike msrp. They make money hand over fist.
5 thousdand over MSRP? Thats a joke, I'm sure he has a lot of bikes left. I can see selling for MSRP, but I didnt pay that for my 08 SG. \\; I bought her in April, and I paid well under MSRP. \\; Try dealing on a 08, you wont get very far on a 09 as far as dealing goes...
