Default Floating Rotor question

Hey guy's, I have a 1996 Rk with the brake calipers off of an 07 SG, so if I buy floating rotors, which ones do I order?
&nbsp\\;I assume the ones for the brake calipers.
Thanks in advance.

wont you need the 96 rotors as they have a 3/4 diameter not the 1" on the 07? im talking were the rotor fits over the hub flange

I would think ya have to use what will mount to the wheel hub.The 08 rotors are about an inch bigger in diameter than the 07s and earlier. You will have to check where the caliper mounts to determine the max diameter of your rotor.

If you keep the timkin tapered axle bearing/wheel, the rotor register is 2". If you upgraded your wheels to a newer style using the 25mmX52mmX 3/4" or 1" axle (sealed bearing) than the rotor register (new style) is 2.24". If you have stock brakes than they are 11 1/2" in all cases for our bike. If you upgrade your calipers to brembo HD than you need 300mm rotors.
