Looking to get a bigger bike moving from a Lowrider up; narrowed down to either a Delux or the Road kind custom, just would like to see the RK without the bags anyone with a photo of one with out the bags on? Please post so I can futhere narrow down I like both bikes.
Most people feel they look pretty bad without the bags. There are bag brackets, un-chromed shocks and the side covers are moulded to fit around the bags.
This place makes a kit to dress up a "naked bagger". There are pictures on the site that may help. I think they look pretty cool.
Thanks that helps I had heard they weren't that great looking without the bags but had to see, still all in all not that bad
Thanks again still ahve a couple of days before I take the plunge on the bigger bike
It's really just a personal taste thing. I use to not like the look of bags on bikes at all, but after you get use to having the storage space, it's hard to do without them, unless you only ride around town or very short trips. Other alternative is to have more than one bike.
WOW, love that look. Did not realize a bagger could look so good without bags. I was thinking of purchase a Softail Deluxe Springer to get that old school look but it would be cheaper to consider the bagless RK.
