I could be wrong, but I don't think the wobble that the True-Track is designed to prevent is the same wobble we feel in crosswinds or above 70mph. The True-Track wobble is the rear swing arm moving around on the rubber while the other wobble is a squishy front end. Not that it matters really, I don't like either one. But I think that is why the Alloy Art didn't appear to work.

Fortunately for me, I just upgraded from a Sportster. The ride, handling, acceleration and looks are all top notch. I don't think I could find a better bike.
I Purchased a 2009 Streetglide in may of this year. And I love everything about that bike, handles really well. The only problem is the stock mufflers are to quiet. I am thinking Vance and Hines power duals, with the monster oval slip ons will cure that lol

i got my 09sg in dec, first upgrade was the exhaust hoping to get a louder sound, i put the vance & hines monster oval but they were not as loud, now i am also getting the power duals i do not know how much louder it will sound, if any, i was trying to remove the baffles... No luck there, i don't even know if they come out, i am goona try to remove the baffles with a friend, but the truth is...we dont know if they can be removed.
Ive owned 3 now and have ridden maney bikes .
I just bought a 2009 Harley Street Glide in vivid black .
Not only do I like the looks , avantages of the bags , stereo , and fairing but it handles like a dream . Almost like your on a rail ..
You WiLL Not be diapointed with the 2009 Street Glide ...
Most guys are only trying to get your goat .. LOL..
gO fOR it .....
I've heard a lot of talk about the much improved handling, and the other changes. i wish i could afford to take such a huge hit moneywise, cause i'd be looking for an 09 roadglide vivid black without abs. as it is, my 08 sg is paid for, and i got it set up the way i like it, so i'm gonna be married to it for a while. maybe in 2011 they'll do something really drastic like dohc 4 valve heads. if you study harleys history, there are only so many years when the motor has evolved to its best state, then they move on to the next one. like from flathead, pan, shovel, etc. etc. The 09 and newer frames are surely an improvement on the older ones.
Topeka Tom, congratulations on your 2009 streetglide. welcome to the forum, your first post, how cool is that. there's a ton of useful information in here. forget about the monster ovals, and go with rineharts if you want a real harley sound that has the thumping sound of soul. ride safe.
