07 RK will not start when warm
Hi, all new to the forum as of today. I have a 07 RK that has trouble starting when warm. starts fine when cold, ride it 10-15 min shut it off leave it for 5 and will not/hard to start after. I have a 110 SE big bore kit, 260 cams, SERT, and ES heavy breather. good bat and fuel pump works. \\;Thought it maybe vaper lock, but it is a EFI bike. any ideas???

Did you check to see if you have spark when this happens? If not could be a coil issue,or mabe the crank sensor needs cleaned but \\;\\\\\\; I have never heard of a FI. bike vapor locking....Anyone else have any idea?? Dawg , Doc... Mabe you might tell him what it might be... Oh by the way welcome to the dark side...

somewhat the same problem on 07 Eglide....gets hot, won't start till it cool...in last 6 months H-D replaced starter-service can't find the problem-H-D won't let them put another starter on and H-D tech won't return their phone calls on what to do next....aint corporations fun......

not sure what a compression release is?? or how to release it. I dont hit the throttle when tryin to start, but that reminds me, sometimes when it will not start I get a back fire through the air intake??

You no doubt have adjustable push rods, have them checked for adjustment.
