It was a nice bike. Trades are tough as you never know what a bike is really worth.

Sounds like a decent deal but if I was getting an 08 or 09 I would try to work a deal on a bike with ABS. Of course if I was in love with a bike that did not have ABS I would figure that I got along without ABS until now so what the hell. Get what YOU like because you will be living with it. The deal sounds fair enough.

I went from a 1963&nbsp\\; 96in&nbsp\\; rigid pan to a 06 RK and must say it cant get much better than this.

I would trade in for a 09 rather than 08 with all the upgraded features like 180 rear tire, new frame, etc... you might regret later down the road going with 08 with it being a year old now... just my .02..
