I have the Kuryakin (sp? I'm too lazy to look it up today) laydown clear/smoked lense housing. No, it's not LED - but, it has the goofy iridescent (again, sp?) bulb and it's bright as heck. Of course, the lense/light is clear when it's not being used/turned off. Love the look it gave me and it was only $65 out the door.
Did any of you who installed the Harley LED tailight really remove the seat and main fuse ? How can changing the tailight possibly cause the bike to start (as warned in the instruction sheet)?

Nope i didnt. I also just installed a front and rear fender led light with smoked lenses. What a difference on the back end with 2 led's. And now the back fender light is a brake light also!

I just installed the Harley LED tailight on my 2008 SG. I am getting a slight high pitched squeal on AM radio when the brakes are applied. Only on AM... FM is fine. Has anybody else noticed this? Asked at dealer service dept. but they have not heard of it.
i went with the LEDs from custom dymanics very bright...actually had people stop me thinking my brake lights were stuck on but the werent. and they have lifetime waqrratny against LED failure.

Same thing here, the front turn signals are on 100% illumination, bright as heck, you can't look directly into them, the tail light, the same thing, money well spent...
