I went out to the dealer a couple weeks ago. No 09's visible. Told the dude I was interested in an 09 EGS or RK. He said he had an 09 EGS in back just put together. He took me in back and let me look at it all I wanted. It was Black Denim. Wow. I was impressed. I would have bought it on the spot, except I had brought a tape measure and measured the batwing and it is too wide to get through my door, so I am going to get an RK instead. But that Black Denim EGS is one beauty.

All I can say is WOW. All the naysayers about the frame and tire changes need to get out and ride one.

Good to know! Thanks for the info... when the HD site was first updated I clicked through all the touring color combos and the Black Denim EGS was the only one that jumped out at me. It's on the wish list. Just wished they could have improved the fram without adding 30lbs to the bike.
